Financial Aid
B Street Design offers financial aid programs for any student that meets the requirements. Our school is eligible for the following programs:

Pell Grant

A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. The amount you are eligible to receive is based on your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) and the cost of attending the school. Pell Grants are usually only awarded to undergraduate students, one per year.

The amount you receive depends on:

• Financial need
• Costs to attend school
• Status as full-time or part-time student
• Length of enrollment

Stafford Loan

Stafford loans are federal educational loans for undergraduate and graduate students. The interest is either subsidized or unsubsidized, and is a fixed rate of 6.8%.

Supplemental Loan

If a student needs more monetary assistance, the student can apply for a supplement loan from a private lender. There are a number of lenders who offer loans to cover additional educational expenses.

Loan approval is generally based on:

• Credit history
• Ability to repay

Parent Loan

Through the Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students program (PLUS), students' parents may borrow up to the annual cost of attendance minus any aid the student receives for the year. Eligibility for a PLUS Loan is based on a parent's credit history and not on need.

Scholarships and Awards

At B Street Design, we want to see you succeed! That means that we can help you meet your financial obligations by providing a limited number of scholarships. Contact our school or your guidance counselor for more details on our scholarships.

B Street Design also has a one-of-a-kind program for graduates. Our Excellent Performance Award program is a reward for good attendance. You can have the chance to win this award through our school and our school only! No other cosmetology schools offer this program.
