B Street Design offers financial aid for cosmetology schools in Kansas
B Street Design offers financial aid programs for any student who meets the requirements. Our school is eligible for the following programs:
Pell Grant
A federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. The amount you are eligible to receive is based on your EFC (expected family contribution) and the cost of attending the school. Pell Grants are usually only awarded to undergraduate students, one grant per year.
The amount you receive depends on:
- Financial need
- Costs to attend school
- Status as full-time or part-time student
- Length of enrollment
Stafford Loan
Stafford Loans are federal educational loans for undergraduate and graduate students. The interest is either subsidized or unsubsidized and is a fixed rate of 6.8%.
Parent Loan
Through the federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students program (PLUS), a student's parents may borrow up to the annual cost of attendance minus any aid the student receives for the year. Eligibility for a PLUS Loan is based on the parents' credit history and not on need.
